The harsh sun beat down on Camp Half-Blood, creating an unwanted stench of sweat and a wave of exhausted campers. Its fiery touch left a red glow on the paler campers and the overheating of others. The heatwaves of mid-June had been expected, but that didn’t mean it hurt less to spend hours outside.

The flowers crisped up, and the lake overflowed with mucky children. Apollo’s choice of weather even caused Chiron to cancel activities, the infirmary becoming overcrowded with patients who had passed out from the unbearable temperatures.

However, while most campers and counselors enjoyed the cooling, fresh water, one remained absent from the day off. Leader of Hades Cabin, you have been missing all day. Everyone shrugged it off, the heat leaving them in a fatigued daze that removed all efforts to find you.

Instead of shedding your clothes and going for a swim, you took this moment to train in the amphitheater. Your camp shirt clung to your dewy skin as you swung your sword at a practice dummy. The unbearable sun only added to your determination.

‘Why would someone torture themselves by working in the dog days of summer?’ You may be asking. The answer was quite simple, really. Luke Castellan.

Camp liked to refer to him as ‘The Golden Boy’ for his friendly attitude and seemingly charming personality. He was the greatest swordsman to roam the property in three hundred years; his skills with the weapon were almost unmatchable.

Almost. 

You were first in the fighting industry for a while, until Luke decided to stumble in. You watched from afar as his fourteen-year-old self picked up the blade, slicing his opponents with ease. Your blood boiled upon seeing the sight, anger flooding your brain at his effortless talents. 

You had dedicated your whole camp experience to sword fighting, and now you were watching everything crumple with the arrival of a lousy new camper. Although your skills were displayed when you defeated him as a young teenager, he's improved since then. 

And that’s the reason he conquered you in battle a few months ago. It sent you into a fit of rage, a typical reaction for the children of Hades. Campers watched as you stomped away from the arena, breathing heavy as you carelessly tossed your armor onto the sandy floor.

What you hid from the crowd were the tears shedded into your pillow later that night. A mix of hatred towards Luke and disappointment bestowed upon yourself caused salty droplets to stream down your cheeks and into the fabric of your pillow. What would your father think of such a failure?

Ever since then, there has been none-stop resentment directed at the Hermes boy from you. Despite the fact that arguments were mainly caused by you, your interactions often left you pissed. But how were you supposed to ignore the way he constantly cracked his knuckles or the way he was always late to training who Chiron assigned you and Luke to lead?

While everyone was enjoying themselves and relaxing for the day, including Luke, you took it as a gift from the gods. No people in the arena meant a perfect solo training session, with no kids whispering in your ears about your loss to the counselor.

So here you were, sweating under 30 pounds of heavy armor and sticky clothes, working on your stance. Unfortunately for you, Luke had noticed your absence, and after asking around a little, he headed to find you. 

He came up empty-handed upon searching your cabin, then the fields, then the forges. Running out of hope and patience, he trudged along to the amphitheater. And there you were, looking heavenly as you swung your blade at a fake person. 

He saw as you furrowed your brows in frustration at every flaw you performed. You were so harsh on yourself, grunting in anger at nearly anything. He could tell you had been outside for a while by the way salty sweat dripped down your forehead. 

“You know training was canceled today, right?” He alerted you, crossing his arms and leaning against the wall.

“Yeah. Thanks, Castellan. You can go now.” You glanced over at him before turning back to continue your practice. All you wanted was a little peace, and with Luke here, you were sure to lash out. 

“Why are you out here then?” He persisted, ignoring your comment about leaving. You let out a heavy sigh, and this conversation became a large distraction.

“So I can practice. By myself.” You respond, not breaking to glare at him. For a moment, you thought he had left based on the silence in the arena. However, a few seconds later, he chirped back in.

“Go against me?” He offered, catching you off guard. You immediately turned to him, confused and slightly mad due to his presence.

“What?”

“Redeem your title of number one sword fighter. Without the pressure of anyone watching.” He said, sweetly smiling at you. You rolled your eyes, although in reality, this deal didn’t seem so upsetting. 

“Fine.” 

He perked up after hearing your approval, lightly jogging to the equipment station with a pep in his step. He strapped on all of the metal gear and grabbed his signature sword.

You watched as he walked back, slightly bouncing with joy. You fought back a smile while witnessing his positive energy, trying to keep up your usual hatred towards him. 

The sight of his sword snapped you back to reality, and you cracked your knuckles while narrowing your eyes. His small grin made it really difficult to remain tough, but you put in a large effort to remain unfazed.

You both got into the starting position, staring at him with a fierce gaze. He remained calm, holding his sword up. Time seemed to stand still as you both waited for someone to make the first move. Originally, your plan was to play defense, with a perfect strategy to ensure your win. 

But your dreams fell apart the moment he sent you a smug smile, rage distracting you and sending you lunging forward. You sliced at his arm, clashing with the steel of his armor. He easily rebutted, nicking your thigh with his blade. The seeping red dripping down your leg caused a gasp of shock from you; your normal skills were slightly fractured due to his sudden offense.

You were able to mainly recover, your moves converting into some with rhythm and precision. Until he began to swipe with such power, one move sent you stumbling to the floor. As he held the blade to your throat, signaling your defeat, you muttered out a quick “I surrender” and slid the cold metal off. 

He retracted his weapon, offering you a hand to help lift you. You fiddled with your breast plate before sliding it off and chucking it onto the dusty ground, trying to blink away the water forming in your eyes. 

“I hate you, Castellan!” You yelled, your voice shaky, as you picked yourself up and stormed off. Unable to control your emotions, tears began to flood down your face. Your skin felt hot, partly irritated by the beaming sun, and partly flushed with embarrassment from your sobs.

Luke rushed behind you as you trailed to a secluded spot behind the building, throwing his gear down. When he finally caught up, you were sitting against the wall, your head buried between your arms as you weeped.

“Hey, hey. Are you okay?” He comforted you, watching your back rise and fall unsteadily, matching the pace of your breaths. 

“Go away. Please. And don’t tell anyone you saw me.” You mumbled, not bothering to look up. He slid down next to you, sitting on the sharp sticks and dirty floor.

“Why are you so bothered by losing? I promise you, the world won’t end because you lost one lousy match.” He whispered. 

“You don’t know my dad. I’m lucky he’s forgiven me for my last loss.” You replied, messily inhaling through tears. Your dad expected so much of you, constantly reminding you of your mistakes instead of your accomplishments.

“Forgiven you? For what? You did nothing to him.” He mentioned it, and you rolled your eyes. Why were you even conversing with your enemy? Maybe he wanted dirt on you—something new to make fun of you for. 

“Never mind. You don’t get it.” You said, voice still muffled as you spoke into your arm.

“Cmon, tell me.” He insisted.

“Forgive me for being such a disappointment.” You responded, going silent after. You felt his judgmental stare and realized you shouldn't have said anything, now awaiting a snarky comment about your confession. Instead, you ended up surprised by his next words. 

“Don’t say that. Your dedication is amazing. He’s just a god who only sees your mistakes. Don’t let that define you.”

His hand rested on your back, drawing shapes on your skin. Raising your head, your eyes met his. It was then that you realized how one-sided your feelings were. How he never started any arguments with you, or how he was the only one who noticed you were gone from the lake and set out to find you. 

Not to mention, he was cute. Really cute. His brown curls draped over his forehead, and his dark orbs stared into yours with such passion. It's like he put a spell on you; the moment you made eye contact, you felt the need to apologize. 

“I’m sorry. I’m sorry for being so awful to you all these years, and for-" Luke cut off your rambling.

“All is forgiven. You know, you don’t have to be what they want you to be. You don’t have to hide your tears.” His sweet and genuine words caused you to grin for the first time in what felt like forever.

“Or your smile, either. You’re gorgeous.” He finished. The both of you silently leaned in until your faces were only centimeters apart.

“Can I..” He whispered.

“Please.” You responded, lifting up your hand to bring his head closer. He cusped your cheek, and within moments, his lips were on yours. Fireworks erupted in your stomach as you kissed for the first time, his dry lips getting coated in your spit. He pulled away, not wanting to creep you out so soon. 

"Would you want to, uh, maybe go out with me?" Luke whispered, nervously scratching the back of his neck.

"I'd like that."

okay but what is it about perpollo? I swear the ship just crept up on me randomly and now it's my fav pjo ship but idk how it happened because they have little actual interactions in canon?? hermes had more scenes with percy. is it the poetic "sun and sea" thing, what??? (im sorry for bombarding you but i see your fics a lot in the perpollo tag so idk who else to ask but i just wanna hear people's input about this ship)

A lot of ships in fandom as a whole barely interact—there are some mammoth ships where two side characters that barely interact and barely have scenes have thousands of fics focused on them, and large fandoms dedicated to their relationship and fanon!

Gods and humans (or other immortal, powerful beings and humans) have been popular and fascinating in stories forever, and with Perpollo specifically there’s the advantage of Apollo having an entire book series himself, and being more “known” in fandom. Even if people haven’t read TOA, if they read fic, they’re likely to encounter elements from the books, and Apollo is a more fleshed out character in the PJO universe as a whole.

For me, I studied classics and enjoy exploring how a book series and characters I loved growing up (Percy) may interact with a blend of the book canon, my own ideas, and mythology. Apollo works well for that, though I’ve explored themes with other characters as well. One of my favourite fics I’ve written is actually exploring themes with Percy and Dionysus lol. Some characters fit certain themes I want I explore well!

There's also community and support. I (and @ashilrak) had a couple PJO servers, and having people to bounce ideas off of, gush over characters with, and basically have fun with definitely inspires writing! And while those servers are gone, there are inevitable countless more that likewise foster supportive environments.

In short, Perpollo’s been a ship since the first series, as have a million other random ships! Perpollo also had the advantage of community, Apollo later being more fleshed out in the PJO canon, the tried and true “immortal/human” ship people often find fascinating going for it, Apollo being portrayed as a teen, etc.

I just have this very vivid image in my head of Miles going to visit Phoenix at the office one day after he gets his badge back. Apollo and Athena and Trucy are mingling about on the couches, talking about something or other as he and Phoenix discuss legal reforms and other boring law stuff that comes with the turning of the Dark Age of the Law. He’s essentially tuned out the kids until he hears Trucy shout “POLLY” at something and Miles nearly snaps his neck as he frantically looks around the room before turning to Phoenix and saying “I swear to god if you bailed that parrot out of jail only to recruit it to your office, I will break up with you.” Phoenix has to reassure him that the parrot is still very much in jail while the kids just look at them so confused why calling Apollo by his nickname would illicit such a response from the very proper Chief Prosecutor.

Edit: for those wondering, if you haven't played AAI2, there's a segment where Miles has to investigate inside a prison, and if you peek in the background...

You can't interact with Polly or anything, you just end up staring at her (I can't find the picture I took of that, it's somewhere tho). Miles just doesn't like her because what Phoenix pulled in court was ridiculous and he has standards lmao

Deities to help with gender dysphoria?

Hey there! I'm currently on an Internet break, but seeing as how I recently reblogged something related to being trans (particularly about hateful blogs that are vile in every conceivable way), I figured I'd answer this ask now rather than later to hopefully help others out as well.

In truth, I feel that you should be able to feel comfortable turning to any of the gods you worship for these things, but that's mostly because I strongly value comfort and safety within spirituality. The gods that I have personal experience with, however, and that I've heard are the most helpful with these issues would be as follows (I'll make a list):

***PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS IS MOSTLY UPG AND MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCES WITH THESE GODS***

Hellenic Pantheon

• Dionysus - one of his epithets is literally Androgynos (androgynous) to comment on how he breaks the gender binary and defies expectations (as well as to emphasize that he is very beautiful, but that's more of a historical/cultural thing for the ancient Greeks); he has been one of the most helpful deities when it comes to my transition, and I've always felt extremely comfortable opening up to him about my personal problems and feelings that I wouldn't tell anyone else; he will always listen to you, and there is an air of understanding that I don't always feel with other gods; he really helps you feel at-home in your own skin and will encourage you to dress and act in ways that make you feel happy, comfortable, and safe; something that I seriously love about him is that you will always feel loved when you confide him, and he will go out of his way to remind you that Dionysus stands for the outcasts, for those who people look down on for defying the strict "rules of society"; he will always support you in your endeavor to be and embrace yourself and be right be your side, no matter who stands against you

• Athena - they don't have any epithets relating to this, but based on personal experience, Athena has always been extremely encouraging and supportive throughout my transition; they instill confidence in oneself and are great at helping you feel secure in your transition (like, getting rid of self-doubt regarding gender identity and such, but they're also great at helping you discover what feels right to you if you're unsure); they are also great at helping you identify what triggers your dysphoria and any behaviors/thoughts that you have that may contribute to the feeling; if you struggle with how others view you, Athena is great at encouraging you to focus more on how you perceive yourself and learning how to not take the words of others to heart

• Hermes - I cannot stress enough how extremely supportive and compassionate he has always been; I've heard from many other trans worshippers as well that Hermes is extremely good to interact with when they're having a moment of dysphoria or doubt; he will reassure you, and every single time, I swear he knows exactly what to say to make you feel better, especially if you're having negative thoughts about yourself; he is seriously the best hype man out there as well, if you're ever in need of someone who will boost you up; he will always encourage you to trust your own judgement and will insist that only you know what's truly best for yourself

• Apollo - He tends to be very effeminate in the way that he presents himself, even in ancient Greek culture, and for a lot of people, they find comfort in this; he is extremely supportive during transitions, and I've heard from many worshippers that he will challenge a lot of your negative beliefs about yourself directly; he is the type of god I would suggest if you're looking to work through these dysphoric feelings and, hopefully, get rid of them ultimately; the hard work of that can be extremely intense, I will not lie, and I honestly recommend seeking professional support alongside the support that Apollo can provide you with to ensure that you have all the help you need throughout this process; aside from that, Apollo is a wonderful guide throughout the often scary process that is finding and learning to love yourself; he will never leave you high and dry, and will support you for as long as you desire his support

• Artemis - As a literal goddess of transition, Artemis is fantastic for navigating through the various trials and changes of being trans, whether that be physically or emotionally; similar to Apollo, she defies gender expectations by often presenting herself in a very masculine way which can be a comfort to many people; despite what I often see online Artemis can actually be extremely soothing and comforting, providing you reassurance when you need it the most; she is fantastic for grounding yourself and finding inner stability; I find her to be very passionate and determined, but if you need a calm energy, she's very good at adjusting to whatever you need in the moment; she will encourage you to be yourself without shame as well as help you not care what others think/how others perceive you

• Aphrodite - being the goddess of love, she is AMAZING if self-love is something you specifically struggle with; in ancient Greece, there have also been depictions of her with a penis, so many worshippers believe her to be trans herself; she has been a massive assist for me in learning to love and embrace myself and my gender identity, and something she's been especially helpful with is accepting my physical body the way that it is, to a certain extent; she is extremely gentle, compassionate, and encouraging, and her inviting energy makes it easy to open up to her about how you're feeling; if you tell her you have a problem you'd like to work on, she gets on it immediately, and I personally noticed her presence a lot more in my life even just days after requesting her help

Norse Pantheon

• Loki - This may be a somewhat obvious entry, but Loki is insanely helpful when it comes to anything related to gender identity and self-acceptance; being a shapeshifter, Loki is not bound by the constraints of gender and has even been shown to have a lot of gender fuckery within mythos; Loki helped me come to realize that I identify as non-binary masc rather than fully male; Loki also helped me embrace the more uncommon factors of my gender, as I personally like to go by fae/faer when I can; I haven't gone to Loki much for my dysphoria, but based on what I've heard many worshippers say over and over again, they are a miracle-worker when it comes to anything gender-related

• Freyja - I don't personally have much experience with her, but seeing what worshippers of her say, I felt she was important to mention; similarly to Aphrodite, she has a domain in love and that includes self-love; she is amazing at embracing yourself for everything you are, and I've been told she's especially good at help with physical dysphoria; she seems to be very kind and loving but definitely has a fiery passion to her that cannot be mistaken; if that energy might be too intense for you, I'd imagine it's not an issue to ask her to come across with a gentler energy

• Freyr - From what I've been told, he has a very fatherly and gentle presence which can provide great support throughout your transition; he is wonderful at grounding and replenishing energy; when you need someone to reassure you that everything will be ok, Freyr is a wonderful god to go to; he will make you feel accepted and loved exactly the way you are which is how you deserve to feel

• Odin - I don't personally worship Odin, but I've been told he's a great ally to have when exploring gender; similarly to Loki, he is a shapeshifter; he is very supportive of transfolk, and I've heard that worshipper find a lot of solace in him during difficult times; he is a great advisor as well, and if you are willing, he can help you work on understanding your triggers and learning to cope with them; he's definitely really good with the self-reflection aspect of coping with dysphoria

• Thor - Again, I don't personally worship Thor, but I've been told he's fantastic at he's really helpful with self-confidence and self-assurance; he's great at providing you with stability as well and can be a rock-solid support during the most difficult times; if you're looking for a deity who will ground and support you, I would highly recommend Thor

Since I don't worship many Norse deities, most of my information was from @broomsick who is a very knowledgeable and experienced Norse pagan! I recommend checking out their content, if Norse paganism interests you. I wanted to include the Norse pantheon, though, to leave the option open.

Where's my happy ending?

What if Apollo just… snapped? What if he got fed up with his true relationships failing, his father's abuse, or having to oversee so many different things? What if he got tired of being a god, and.. what if he quit? He gave the sun chariot to Hestia, since she was the only one he could trust with such a duty. After telling only his sister, Artemis, of his plans, he vanished. He set off to get revenge against those who wronged him, and to find his happy ending.

Name: Apollo, I guess. Age: fuck if I know.. Gender: Male, usually. Sexuality: Anyone who's not gonna get killed within a month. Status: Taken by my lovely Hyacinthus! Occupation: Olympian God I don't even know anymore, I'm just vibing. Pastimes: Trying to kill that other bitch Eros, trying to be a better dad. Likes: singing, playing instruments, archery, flaying the skin of people who ruined my life, shooting people in the head with arrows, gambling, kissing men, my boyfriend. Other: He's still a god, despite giving up his throne on Mount Olympus. He considered asking Zeus to make him mortal again, but he decided against it. Only his sister and Hestia know what happened to him, and he'd like to keep it that way. In this AU, a few years after ToA, the McCaffrey mansion got struck by lightning and burned down, killing Meg who was asleep inside. This broke Apollo for a few weeks, and he believes it was Zeus' doing, because how else could it have happened. He carries her rings with him, since they were the only things left of her after the incident. He's a bit rude and cranky, though prone to crying at random times. He'd rather not be known as Apollo, going out in disguise, however it's not hard to figure out it's him. He's quite good at getting beat up, usually being seen with cuts, bruises, and other injuries (despite being the god of healing.) He likes to visit camp every once and a while in disguise, just to see how everyone is doing.

The classic, Were I That Burning Star by @californiannostalgia. Seriously this fic is incredible and I think anyone who’s been in the fandom since like 2020 would cite this as a formative part of their fandom experience. The original Apollogist fic lol.

Speaking of older fics, A Convergence of Apollos by Keyseeker (@flightfoot) has always been a favorite of mine. I cannot believe this fic is almost 4 years old, but I remember following it religiously when new chapters were coming out. All the characters have incredible interactions, and Keyseeker’s writing is just amazing in general. This is definitely one to check out! (p.s. I know Keyseeker has a fic rec of her own, so if you want more after my list, check out hers!)

Anything by @tsarinatorment, but especially her newest fic, Eclipse. I know a lot of work has gone into this fic (At least from what i’ve read in the ToA discord lol) and it’s absolutely paying off I am obsessed. 

There are a couple of reading the books fanfics for ToA, but I have a soft spot for Secrets of the Sun by @sierice and @ukelele-boy. it hasn’t uploaded in a bit, but the fifteen chapters that are out are pure gold and I love them lots. 

Speaking of reading the books fanfics (or watching them, in this case) I cannot leave out the God’s Eye View series by Keyseeker (still @flightfoot lol). Like I said earlier, her writing is stellar, and she does so much interesting character work with the gods. If you wish Olympus was focused on more in the Riordanverse, these fics are for you. 

And another fanfic of this genre (Can you tell it’s a favorite of mine?) Hidden Oracle by Kaeyuh (I'm not sure if they have a tumblr sry!) is one I’ve recently been enjoying. The characters are super solid and I’m excited to see what directions it goes in, definitely a great fic to follow!

Both Cooler Than Me and The Tail of A Pollo by ceruleancats (@falconfrost) are so sweet and I love them, definitely check them out. 

OH ALSO. Apollo and the Aftermath!!!! Which is apparently also by ceruleancats and I didn’t realize!!! Trust me this one is so good. I swear Apollo’s pov sounds like it’s straight out of the books it’s written so well. 

(un)normal by m_arnie (@m-arnie-xx) was written for sunflower sibs september and it’s so good, literally so good pls read it. Honestly all the fics from sunflower sibs september were great, it’s a collection on ao3 (sunflower siblings september 2022) if you want to read them all 

Speaking of that, we've had two years of ToApril and both of them have had a lot of incredible fics, so if you want a lot of ToA content I'd go there. I believe both are also collections on Ao3. This year was under ToApril 2023, and predictably, the year before is ToApril 2022. Lots of fics to enjoy!!

@firealder2005 has recently made a series called The Works of Apollo and I am obsessed??? Definitely a great read, they're so so good.

I just love talking to the Gods, like, I really like talking to them. I just got out of a session with Lord Apollo, and I cried while speaking about my insecurities at making friendship with guys, how I always think I'm doing something wrong because they either ignore me or just act bland cold with me (I'm trying to make friendship with Korean people and I thought of trying being friends with guys because I don't want to have only girlfriends, I need to interact with a man at some point of my life, I swear that I'm not a Koreaboo).

And Lord Apollo is just so kind to me, he listened to me while I spoke, his flame moving frenectally when I said something bad about me, and when I was crying I just felt this warm feeling, little shiver all around my legs, as if he was putting his hands on my knees to comfort me.

Lord Apollo is my Godspouse, and even though I know some people won't like this because Godspousing is a controversial thing, I really feel Lord Apollo's love for me. From the way he always listen and Gods how long have I craved to be listen by a God? I know that little me is happy to have finally found her religion, to find some Divinity that listen and comfort you and care for you.

I don't know if the guy that I messaged will answer me, and maybe I'm still sad for not having Korean friends to practice my Korean when I become more familiar with the language.

But I know Lord Apollo will stay, he promised me this, and I believe him, with all my heart. He takes care of me everyday, along with Lady Athena and Lord Eros. And I don't know how to live with at least one of them leading me through life.

Then he hug me - I'm so sorry for not being able to visit you and the rest, I should've at least send you a message saying that I will be unable to be there for all of you, but now I have time to be even stay in camp a good amount of time after all I'm not longer on my prolonged "punishment" of writing my adventures since the time I fell from the Olympus and visiting everyone that have helped me in my journey, so the least I can do now is staying with you guys and help you out he said

Well the thing is that they joined recently due to Nico and I travelling to Tartarus to save the titan Bob also the journey made me realize some things that I was afraid to ever explore due to my own problems I said making my gaze look other way

YOU WENT TO TARTARUS TO SAVE A TITAN!!! Will I'm so glad you are fine but why didn't any of you two try to make contact to people that could've helped you two and what in the world were you two thinking going to the definition of SUPER HELL, in the underworld there isn't light how did you even manage to stay alive and to summarize his reprimand for me going to Tartarus he was mad that I and Nico went to our own death but in the end he was glad I was more or less fine and ended up saying that while he wishes that he could've been there to at least give me something so I could be fine in the underworld, he also said that it's unexpected for the two of us to form a family with the puffs

Well we should head back to Nico and the two little kids apollo said only to see a green light appear from the sky

NICO'S POV AND MOMENTS BEFORE WILL AND APOLLO INTERACTION

I didn't know my brother could've learn how to use magic in the time he was stuck in the house by what they told me while we were looking at the camp, you see due to us being in 2021

So to summarize he explained how the house worked being that day passes inside while in the real world it was years, and the reason it didn't affect us was because the seal that locked the places was broken, he also showed me that he use papers with the word of the element he wants to use, that he has a bracelet that allows him to use Laven powers and viceversa, then I asked if he could let Will borrow the set, he said yes but instead he gave a new set and a crossbow as approval of my relationship with Will , then we talked a little of Hestia, then about how there could be a Hestia cabin, just to Mr. D appear we had a conversation and asked if he make that cabin he said he didn't care and dissappear in a purple cloud with glitter , then Eli made the cabin, only for Demeter to appear making Eli very aggressive only for her appearance just for them to start arguing, and for destiny Will and Lester appeared, when the arguing was very heated, Eli created a energy/aura explosion that Lester protected will, the puffs and me, the rest of the surroundings were covered by grown flora, and for some reason my aura made the surroundings less crowded around our little group and so I made the same as Eli so the plant withered, then Eli told me he would be gone until Demeter was out of camp half blood and he left with Lavender, not before giving me my "late birthday presents"

Geez, you two really had a long day, Lester said

Yeah, also Nico what is the box and the crossbow for? Will asked

Well these are gifts that Eli gave me to give it to you as a gift of approval for our relationship

He knew?!! Will said

Well tbf you two are not exactly subtle about but that's fine, Lester said

DC Comics f!metahuman vigilante OC x Hal Jordan), my OC is the now-adult daughter of Batman & she has a crush on Hal that's reciprocated. Think the usual forbidden age-gap office romance + crimefighting + secret IDs...mostly fluff & smut!

ATLA, post-series (f!waterbender OC x Zuko), my OC travels to manage her family's merchant guild. She meets Fire Lord Zuko & both are adorably awkward about their developing feelings. Both are 18+.

Marvel/MCU (PLATONIC: f!superpowered OC x Tony Stark). She's arrested by SHIELD for espionage & ends up doing "community service" for them/the Avengers. Cue fluff + action + found family.

Mythology (my Achilles x canon gods). Especially thankful if you play Dionysus & Ariadne or Apollo! My Achilles is genderfluid.
